2025 Junior of the Year

McCoy Landwehr

McCoy Landwehr is a Freshman at Drummond Public Schools where he maintained at 4.0 gpa and is very active is the Drummond FFA Chapter, baseball and Simmental cattle. McCoy enjoys Livestock Judging, archery and currently serves as the chapters Sentinel.  

McCoy has been an active member of the Oklahoma Junior Simmental Association since 2018 and served on the OJSSA junior board since 2020. He is a member of the Oklahoma Junior Cattlemen’s Association, National Junior Angus Association and American Junior Simmental Association. McCoy has been fortunate to exhibit Simmental cattle around the nation at regional and national shows.  

Being a fourth-generation cattleman he enjoys every aspect of exhibiting cattle including having an active role in sire selection and day to day operations of the family’s herd. McCoy plans to attend Oklahoma State University to become a agriculture attorney while maintaining his herd of Simmental cattle.
